5 Ways to keep Busy In February 2021
Hello February 2021!
I hope you are recovering from the January blues and getting yourself back on track. Did you make a vision or manifest board for 2021? What small steps are you planning to take towards living your best 2021 life?
In Scotland we are still experiencing lockdown precautions to prevent the spread of Covid-19. If you are looking for some inspiration to keep yourself busy this month, I have created another monthly activity planner.
5 Ways to keep busy in February:
1. LGBT History Month, UK:
Schedule some time to watch the TV Series ‘It’s a Sin’. This TV drama follows 5 friends living and loving in the shadow of AIDS. The soundtrack is wonderfully 80s. Have tissues to hand!
Available on All 4: https://www.channel4.com/programmes/its-a-sin
2. Black History Month, USA:
Watch ‘13th’ on Netflix. This documentary explores issues of race, justice and mass incarceration in the US by exploring the countries prison system. If you are all TV’d out- make a point of reading a book by a black author or share and celebrate the artwork of a black artist that you admire.
3. Global Movie Day:
Arrange a ‘watch party’ with friends or family online or cosy up with some popcorn and treats with the people that you live with. Talk about the movie afterwards. Who was your favourite character? Why?
4. Valentine’s Day
Typically we write a letter to someone else in our lives that way love. This year why not write yourself a love letter? It might be nice to examine how you look after yourself. What do you love about yourself? Your appearance? Your personality? Things in your life? Celebrate yourself a little!
5. Shrove Tuesday
A.K.A. pancake Tuesday. Are you a crepe or a fluffy American pancake person? Sweet or Savoury? Load up on your favourite pancake toppings or maybe try a new recipe this month?
